[ quitely I sit ]

quitely I sit
typing
away at the keys to my mind

black symbols form upon
a white page always changing
to the forging of my thoughts

what is speech
what is thought
and who am I to even talk?

quietly I sit
typing
away at the keys to my mind...

Very profoundly written,,,"the keys to my mind" Lots of musing as you wrote this....like a start up for another poem...Very well written in such a short time!

...it was late and I was under a time limit...but I like what I wrote because I can relate, lol...I wish I wrote more poetry by hand, though--it would feel more "real"...
also, nice poem you wrote for Brenna!--did you read Mark's?--I posted a topic on the group discussion board for all of us to tell Brenna "Happy Birthday" yet again!

Definitely well thought and self insight graces these words...Loved the ending "quietly I sit typing away at the keys to my mind" Splendid metaphor! Is that not what we all do here...? I am old fashioned...I still use pen & paper...heheheh Keep typing ...Oh and Congrats on the HM
