I love the simplicity of the images you have chosen to use in the border here. Soft and very springy feeling to me.

    Keep the paint flowing!
    Blessings

Ooo, how pretty. I reminds me of the days I would go into the field and pick pretty little flowers to dry. Congrats on the hm, well deserved!

So beautiful and definitely grabs my attention...the border needs some minor adjustments to be lined up, but an overall impact on me is, I would use it...I love the old fashioned effect it has

Thanks, Lilac. Unfortunately, this is one of my first ones, and it didn't turn out very well. I do love the flowers, and the effect they have, but cropping them leaves them looking less than antiqued. I guess this one isn't meant to be a background. Hugs, Patricia

You don't need to crop them Patricia, they are perfect as they are, they just need aligning, so they fall in a straight line without choppiness...I love it and would use it

Beautiful. I have a border with similar color and tiles. Very elegant and soft I think. Almost mediterannian.

Yep, like DK's term, chic. Simple but not and definitely protrudes class. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.

    Thanks for the entry

This is a gorgeous background, the creamy smooth colors are warm and very inviting. On the border there are a few graphics un-aliened but this could be easily fixed in Paint. Awesome work Thank you very much for the entry, and best wishes always

Thank you. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with this one after it was posted. I've had some tips since, and I'm working on learning more. Hopefully my next one will be better aligned. Patricia

Lovely border, Patty. I love the quality of these botanical prints. Changing up the border makes it more interesting to view. I can identify the white calla lily; the red flower is an orchard or lady's slipper, I believe. Nice work!

This is so addicting it's scary!

Thank you, Joyce. I just love these prints too. I don't know many names of flowers. I know the calla lily well because my mother used to have them in her flower garden. They were my favorites and still are. Hugs, Patricia

Thank you, Julie. I'm glad you enjoyed this. I just fell in love with the flowers, the way they look like they've been suspended in time. Hugs, Patricia

I like the flowers, and the colour is a nice match. It could be a bit lighter, but there are no contrast problems. You are having fun, I'm happy for you!

You did a nice job on the color choices and bordering, except there are two picture on the bordering that don't line up. Other than that, *thumbs up*

    Hiya Sis,

    This background is really beautiful.

I hope all is well with you this evening. It's almost time for beddy-bye. I have been so lazy this July. It's wonderful being on summer vacation.

    Love and hugs - joanne
