just starting to blossom with every beat of our hearts
My love is like a river, flowing deeply,
freely along the river banks out towards the sea
My love is like a single tear,
a tear of joy running slowly, softly down my face
My love is like a dream come true,
you came into my life, opened my heart and set me free
My love is like a diamond
that sparkles brightly in your eyes forever
My love is like the wind,
gently caressesing your body on a warm summer eve

burning deeply in our hearts always and forever

This poem was beautiful. I love poems that are set up like this, with the 'my love is....'. It makes it so much better when they are original words aswell, which these are. I really like the last stanza, I think it really sums the whole piece up wonderfully.
