to shield you from the world
and make you whole again.
But I know I can't
I'm caring
that is true
but it's not the kind of care you need.
I'm a patient person
so I can wait
I know that you are fragile
it's probably why I care.
I'm not as fragile
or as weak
as I may first appear
you do well to remember that.
I am not so sweet and kind
as to be oblivious
as to what has happened
I do know and I understand.
I want to help you.
Even if you do not want my help.
