i still think of you.
- every day.
i sometimes wonder
what could have been
i sometimes wonder.
i still think of you.
- every hour.
i imagine you.
i imagine your warm eyes
- and i quiver from head to toe.
i imagine your sugar-sweet smile
- and i only want you more.
i imagine you.
i see you.
i see your strong hands
- and i want to hold them.
i see your open arms
- and i want to be in them.
i see you.
i remember you.
i remember your silent invitation
- and i wish i had accepted.
i remember your body, mind and soul
- and i wish i didn't have to wish.
i remember you.
i still think of you.
- every minute.
i sometimes wonder
what could have been.
i sometimes wonder.
i still think of you.
- every second.

in a second. i would have accepted his silent invitation in a second.
i'm sorry you both had to experience this situation. of course, we all have at least one, right? it never fails to hurt in the end, though. *sigh*
my appreciation to honorablyfallen and mollyswall for their comments.

How sweet this is. And sad... It is very well written, but what got me was the bittersweet emotion. I am on the verge of a similar regret and this poem really hit home. I wonder if you had it to do over, would you accept the silent invitation?
Thank you
