With a kiss on my hand and a nudge on my cheek,
you always show how much you care for me.
Your smoky green eyes are filled with great mystery,
as I sit there petting you and you stare back at me.
My beautiful cat, how you amaze me,
from the games that you play, to how free you still seem.
And when night time has fallen, me and the baby lay down,
you still find new ways to surprise and amaze.
You come and you clean her,
oh how you must care,
you watch and you keep her from harm.
Laying at her feet as she crawls,
or running to see when she crys what is wrong.
Wonderful kitty I hope that you know,
I love you as much as you do me,
and I am glad that this is your home!
