Time moves in a clockwise direction,
and the tide caresses the shore

and it’s reason is unknown.

It’s like the feeling of a rainbow
joining two hearts.
The sound of laughter
within the world of two.
The gift of tiny hands and feet
-unconditional.
And the knowing that lilies
will blossom above a memory of happiness.

When your arms embrace me
with your warmth - I’m safe
and your breath keeps me alive.

Time could reverse
or the ocean stand still.
