Lavender dreams
and twilight shadows
misty moonlight
lurking hearts.
Rambling rhymes
with no ending
poetic prose
now torn apart.
Tie my thoughts
in tiny bundles
a little scattered
to form in rows.
Strike the match
turn them to cinder,
so my words
are left unknown.
Author notes
alright I rambled down paths I couldn't even have foreseen. But it was fun.

I like it too...but I don't discern any real rhyme and the contest is specifically for rhyme.

Ah my rambling rose
beautifully written, flows nicely, best of luck in the contest dear...Scott
