“I shut my eyes in order to see.” ~Paul Gauguin
You’ve approached me staring as
if the world itself dared not to dream
of something brilliant other than again,
itself
So politely you asked, “Why not open
those eyes to view things – objects
as they appear?” There’s no true answer
to such an inquisition; transfixed, could
be defined yet here was the eulogy provided
leaving merely an aftertaste
Prescribed lines, although inaudible, filtered
themselves around as if the wariness of this
copasecitic breeze talked- relaying the latest
information of daily gossip
Sitting within conveyed submergence, a wooden
seat was provide as colors locked theories in the
rark, however it was those sound-waves that have
woven its untimely thread preparing to sew away
And recognition of sound lingered in sequence
while these distal fingertips smiled allowing more
unspoken phrases to simply be…..well, voiced
With that lone memory inside, this mouth
could finally answer…
“Well, why answer that when I’ve already
Viewed what hasn’t been seen?”
