You where the one that helped me most,
The most of time people just looked down on me.
Now that I look back at all of the miss deeds I've done.
You were the one that helped me the most,
What have I done to deserve such treatment.
To look back and see you evil smirks.
What have I done to deserve such treatment from them,
nothing but be myself and try to please everyone.
I know that I'm not perfect, but now that I see.
If I do look back and see your scorn,
I now know that it doesn't matter.
As I fight for those words, I look back to see.
If the people around me scorn at me,
No other person can see me as such.
But I cast you aside with nothing more than a wave.
Now I look back and all I can call out,
is what have I done to you.
You loved me for me,
I can now see that.
But now all I can say is what have I done

I'm glad I found this poem, it's something people can relate to, and it has a 'quoth the raven'(by edgar allen poe) type of feeling to it. Very dark, sad and yet angry underneath. I'm glad that I was introduced to your works.
thankyou so much for sharing this with allpoetry.com.

thanks again this piece is one of my favorites but I got the impression that no one liked it, but I'm glad that I put it on here

Really don't like the repitition in this. It makes this poetry seem ramblish and it covers up the emotion that was portraying itself so strongly in this piece. I love pure emotion poems as much as the next person, but if your gonna do this, it is hard to make it effective like this. Overall I still think it was a nice piece and thanks for the entry.
