Frustrated by the noisy
cackle the inconclusive
chattering, mindless
selfishness, distorted
scenes
I wander off
a little hidden door
curiosity overcomes,
peeping inside
astounding
breathtaking
Images
Crystal clear water
flowing effortlessly
over white pebbles
gravel and rocks
melodiously
calming.
Overwhelmingly
peaceful.
Alongside
a heady scent
dizzying titillating
exhilarating.
Luxuriant cushion
of red, yellow, and
green a
spectacular array
pleasing the eye.
No chance now
of leaving this
haven and
turning back.
Laying down
resting soul
body and mind,
sleep conquers
will and
all is still.
