I've never seen you hug each other.

Not a single time...

I've never seen you sit together.

Not even once...

I've never seen you compromise.

What a sight for sore eyes...

I've never seen you in the same room for five minutes without arguing.

And I probably never will...

I've never heard a single "I love you."

I'd give everything...

I've never seen you smile at each other.

That would be the day...

I've never seen you offer a kind word.

I always wonder why...

I've never seen you two agree.

You're just too different...

I've never heard a "Happy Birthday!"

I guess you just don't care...


Yet you claimed you were in love.

I suppose the key word is "were."

I believe love fades,

but it never really dies.

If I had one wish,

a wish for anything,

I would give my anything to rekindle that spark.

That twinkle in your eyes that said,

"I'll love you forever."

But alas, I can do nothing but wait and hope.

Hope that they find the strength to get along,

and maybe even fall in love again.
