Among The Sound and The Fury

You forgot to take with you all the memory
And I remained among the sound and the fury
of your lingering part within me.
Every drop of shattered dream
Used to bleed within me and scream.

You forgot to look back
And I kept standing among the rocks
of pain those I chose once.
Tears do smile in the eyes of life
And pains want to come out through the lips.

Author notes

The phrase "the sound and the fury" has been taken from William Faukner's Famous novel "The sound and the fury".
