The music ripped through my very soul
as thunder chilled the sky,
The sound erupts;
Rebounds,
-Resounds-
As the notes strike the ground
in sad tear shaped drops.
As a prelude to the sheets of rain
Frightening the land.
Streaming in the grimy streets;
Bring criss cross scars
and bleeding horror.
Dark dreams told in sharp flashes
of lightening -
discarded in the gutter,
consuming the gasoline rainbow;
There the symphony of the deluge
writes its diabolical music
in red stinging welts on the face of our earth
An eulogy to them destroyed -
-The unholy hymn of the destructive elements.
