As the last cruel wave
of the day’s relentless heat
is chased away
by the advancing cool waft
of dusk,
there is a moment
if but fleeting,
that must be softly captured
like a rare butterfly
in a silk net
and
as I listen closely,
I hear
a whispered lullaby
as twilight caresses the earth
like a loving mother who
lulls her weary child to sleep and
such things as
harsh summer temperatures
are now far from me
like misty childhood memories;
and I smile.

I'm feeling this, but I need more. It seems to just stop suddenly. You still have time. Please add more to this.
