A Muse for All Senses

Missing image

She gallops like wind:
Free as fire,
Filling gasping lungs
with burning essence of poetry

Breathe her.
Choke on her.
Amongst crumbling bookshelves
and paper wasted.

When your pen, inspired, paints its pictures:

Thank her.

Your muse for all senses.

    I like this one

It amuses me that you are so light on youre muses. Some of the things I have heard about them would make a grown man cry! The poem is enchanting.
    Smile,

Such an original take on the prompt here. Very creative and beautiful. You are correct, we should thank our muse more often than we do. Thank you for entering and good luck!

    Blessings
