withdrawn
and alone
I sought comfort
in solace
where the shadows
are known.
Give me light
I'll repel it
give me hope
I'll deny.
Because wishes
are fishes
left breathless
to die.
I am wisdom
in ignorance
an enigma
unwound
buried deep
in my
memories
are the dreams
that I
drowned.
Yet you found me
in hiding
where no on
dare look,
turned the pages
found meaning
that others
mistook.
Capture me
in this moment
I'm not sure
it will
last,
hold it close
for a
moment
before it slips
past.
In the essence
I leave you
impressed
in your
heart,
the circle
of heaven
you found
in the
dark.
