I wasn't a friend, a companion or a brother
The bond we shared way above any other
My feelings, my sentiments so genuine, so deep
He made a promise he couldn't keep!
There have been emotions, there 've been tears
Ah! the attachment that blossomed all these years
As delicate, as fragile as a silken thread
Now I'm lost, don't know where I tred
It throttles the mind reminiscing the past
The same relationship ceases to last
Boundless faith, so much of trust
Misunderstanding or some kind of lust?
Things aren't as easy as it seems
I feel shattered- my hopes, my dreams
Helplessly I grope in the dark
Amidst my loneliness I search for a spark
He ditched, he lied, he broke my heart
I'll give it another try- A new dawn,a new start!!
