This is a very cool concrete haiku, you have made such a good choice of words, the meaning (s) are easy to understand. Thank you so much for your entry.
-
You've really captured an essence of haiku artistry by lay-out and words to this haiku, Alan...Right down to that little "." detail.
Jo
P.S.: I think "penultimate" is now my new most favorite word, and you used it PERFECTLY for this haiku.

-

Good shape poem, what about the use of "penultimate", isn't it more telling than showing?
-
A micro revelation. Good.

Very cool haiku, I appreciate the idea of the period representing a drop of rain, at that the last drop of rain, the last one standing erhem hanging, cool idea, the title suites it quite well. Nice wordchoice by the way with penultimate, I got a kick out of seeing that word in haiku, such a large word, and in most other cases it would almost seem out of place, you found a way to make it fit, good job. Good luck in the contest.
