To whom is in my path,
I walk with you today;
for aligned in the murky sky,
is the will of words to say.
the north it be earnest,
bright in a shining accord;
but be weary of which you face,
for there are two ends to a sword.
deep in the nightly trails,
sight is far but a favor;
and as the suculent feasting scent,
watch to-whom your nose does savor.
for in your footsteps,
may be another following child;
and the fear of that linking wrath,
could turn a tame beast wild.
or is it vain in your deals,
for a smith such as me;
that I should concern such limit,
for the sake of a listing tree?
cause in the end of my travels,
what will I have to say;
When the riding horse is much too old,
and night becomes my day?

Wow! I find so much intelligence written here in these lines. Thoughts of legacy {of earth}; teaching by actions not words. {in this, your title is excellent}. I feel this takes a hard look at the perspective and priorities that are passed-down by role-models of today's society. This verse certainly causes reason to ponder and this voice it speaks with is quite eloquent with wisdom. Blue
