Her walls were closing in on her

Deserving
Outside she was yearning
All she needed was to be loved
She was worried
Anxious
Inside she was swarming
Her thoughts were becoming cloudy
She was toned
Muscular
Outside she was together
She was the perfect shape and size
She was depressed
Angry
Inside she broke down
She fought back many tears
She was perfect on the outside
and lying to herself
She was crazy on the inside
and hiding herself
Being what they want
was only starving herself
Expectations were
stopping her dreams

My picture was full of life? I LOVED this poem. I adore how you took it and revolved it around both the scene of skin deep beauty and the deep running emotions within. It was thoughtful and powerful. I really truly loved this poem. Ecspecially since this all centered my own personal feelings and struggles. It is amazing how much you hit home with me.
