The biblical cheer…
Nurtured with vengeance…
Claimed to prevent….
We’ll put you to death….
The message we send…
The judgement of peers…
The legal recourse…
The illusion of logic…
The public conscience enjoys….
The loss of life….
We claim we respect….
We say its murder…
And feel deep regret…
To call it anything less….
Would be completely feeble…
And it’s still a murder…
