I do not Just write poetry.
I am a poet.
I am an artist.
Poetry is a life choice,
A way of living.
Though I remain unpublished,
I am notorious for my craft.
I make no money,
But I deliver happiness to my peers.
My words touch many...
From teenagers lost in the world-
To adults reflecting about the past.
This pleasure I get
From knowing my connection with all,
Does not apprear from simple means.
I struggle to find perfection,
To choose words that may inpire,
Or that will create understanding.
Some call this a hobby,
I call it a lifestyle.
I am an artist.

Beautiful write. I think this is how most of us poets out there feel. Even though I also don't make any money from writing my lyrics and poems I feel a great satisfaction at the end of each day if I even get one comment on my work. If any of us can even inspire one person through our poetry I think it's worth the write. Keep up the great work.

i see unsaid words flowing through
some dont make sense and some do

but not as you
well written agreed to what you say.. but i dont fel that poetry is my lifestyle..keep the ink flowing bro
