To live forever,
To never die?
To never feel pain,
To never cry?
To never feel,
To never love?
To never return
To home above?
Take a bite,
Take a chance.
Taste the fruits,
Fall in the trance.
To never let go,
To stay forever?
You can die
Now – or never.
To never die?
To never feel pain,
To never cry?
To never feel,
To never love?
To never return
To home above?
Take a bite,
Take a chance.
Taste the fruits,
Fall in the trance.
To never let go,
To stay forever?
You can die
Now – or never.
Author notes
yeah I know, sort of repetative, but I looked up Ambrosia and apparently it was a food in Roman/Greek mythology that gave anyone immortality when they ate it. I guess this poem is about someone in mythology trying to choose whether to eat Ambrosia or not.

This is really good..personally I wouldn't eat the ambrosia, being able to love is to important to me. And anyways it wouldn't really be worth living anymore once everyone I knows dies. But then again the Gods have other Gods...but....
