Coward's Way

Admonished by constant degrading,
Everything finding gradual harmony,
In jaded karma’s,
Lightless, mundane, nursing obscurity.

Price queried ragged soul,
Taken untimely via wretched xyster.
Yahweh Zoroaster!

Author notes

This was just a little something I was inspired to write by some of the guys on storywrite. It's short because I wanted it to follow the alphabeth.

On the piece itself. It's about a person committing suicide (hence the title.)

Xyster is a surgical instrument that I've used to symbolise a scalpal. It's used to scrape bones so I hope it shows how determined to end their lives this person was.

The last line calls out to Zoroaster, the prophet of Zoroastrianism.

Please tell me what you think
