Your rising terror knows no bitter end
there is no death that any god can send
no fractures found profound enough to mend
no love, no joy, no strength left here to lend
no trust nor lust for enemy nor friend
This tortured life has gone against my choosing
I madly grasp the mind I’m slowly loosing
-they circumvent each tactic I am using
but insanity is nowhere near confusing
-the fibers of our lives are simply fusing
Those fibers join to make a sturdy cord
it becomes a deity, my sovereign lord
a noose, a door that begs to be explored
and on this night the gallows have implored
and took my life, a price I can afford
My last request is helplessly denied
seldom spoke but forcefully implied
the world just laughed and nursed it’s wounded pride
and though there’s few who loved—the few who cried
still to my wishes none of them complied
It’s clear that even in my death I’ve lost
I couldn’t stand to pay the mounting cost
and face the sculpting world to be embossed
battered and shattered my worthless life is tossed
and in my death all I have made is lost
Now they try to crawl inside my head
and look into the life they thought I led
searching for clues behind the words I said
but they will never see these words that I have bled
they go unread—for art has fallen dead

DAMN! I am impressed by how extremely well rhymed this is and how great the entire piece is. Seriously, this is excellent. It takes some great skill with rhyming and poetry to right a poem that makes so much sense and have every stanza completely rhymed, every line rhyming with the last.. you have done really well and I compliment your talent here! Fantastically well penned!
