Dawn Waiting

Light shines gratefully
Upon the floor,
After a long absence.
The tapping stops on the cold surface
Of the glass window, that separates the dark from the light,
And shelters warmth with chill reflection
On the face
Of a weary bystander.
They wait, but for a dawn of emptiness.

The light spreads
Through the world,
Through trees and mountains and even the
Loneliest cavern.
But the figure waits, standing
In the dark.

A good write. It has that mysterious vibe to it. I dunno that's just my opinion. Overall it was good.
