Ripped out from under me, as gem stones he needs.
A diamond doesn’t hold with men these days,
They rather look upon lustful gems, and the way they play.
As he cascades my world with loving words,
He follows that of a voice, that shouldn’t be heard.
Allowing visions of tempted flesh, to capture his mind,
As the rarest of diamonds, are hard to find.
Her beauty, may hold his attention for awhile,
And her goods may make him smile.
But was it worth, the loss of a rare stone.
To follow the gathering of a gemstones?
They may look good to you dear, but it will quickly fade,
As many women who seek out just to lay,
Will break your heart a many times,
As for the rarest stone, the diamond you embraced, slips up sometimes.
Yet she is your beauty, the one who shines bright for you,
Who loves you back, no matter, what wear she goes through.
Fitted perfectly for you alone,
Was the rarest of stones.
I was your diamond, that you tossed away,
A rarest of jewel, by gemstones I was replaced.
You haven’t even met her yet, a vision unknown,
Yet you didn’t want to be tied down, in case she became known.
Want your ice cream and cake, and someone to eat it too,
As you told me your desire, it was tearing me in two.
Said there are so many things unseen,
Other women, to explore ones dream.
My heart not a lost stone,
As I step away, so you can seek out them gemstones.
Pain rips through me, I no longer feel alive,
Sections of me had fallen off and died.
Like a band with prongs of missing content,
Diamond now missing, as you don’t know where it went.
You search and search only to discover,
More then the diamond was missing, so was your significant other.
Now I am forever lost, a jewel in lost and found,
But that’s ok, no longer will I be around.
Author notes
Sometimes, when we have that jewel right in our grasp, a colorful gemstone catches your eye. Then you put down the diamond to investigate the colors of beauty, forgetting that the most precious is the one you laid down. Through lifes journey, you become lost, and when you return to gather your jewel, it has been stolen, misplaced, no longer yours....what happens then??? when i find out i will let you know, but until then i remain in lost and found.

well im going to need you to tell me your screen name- because without it you wont go anywhere - otherwise this was a sort of boring write.. very original although, you did a well job.. its just it sounded like you were going on and on when for this write particularly i would have liked it to be short sweet and to the point.. but you were one that followed some rules (sn in the AN you did not and the key word) otherwise it was just okay for me

Brilliant!!
This is a wonderfully poignant write.
You weave a story of intrigue that captivates
the mind and touches the heart.
The depth of wisdom in your words is remarkable.
You are to be commended for this great masterpiece.
I feel you have done AllPoetry a great service by
being so transparent about your own life.
I see within your story of agony lost and pain
the faces of every human being that have ever
suffered for love or lost someone they love.
Exceptional work here. Great Job!!
