with subtle wisdom

very gentle.

Grasp my wrist
and profess innocence

    Well penned!

    I like how you have used the brackets and parenthesis to convey an inner thought or command. Like this is how the person in the poem truly feels and is the undercurrent of the piece.
    I like the gentle rhyme here and there. It is very well done
