love the four letter word
that people hear everyday
its something they're use to
hearing from love ones and boyfriends
and girlfriends
but for the broken hearted
its a word that brings them pain everywhere
they go never feeling love in the first place
just feeling hate and alone
just telling them that you love them
brings them to tears and horrendous
memories of bad situations
they walk away feeling more unloved by the step
and leave you standing
broken hearted as well

interesting i feel that there wast a lot of flow to the whole poem but there was undoughtedly a lot of emotion behind it. i think the actual working could you quite a bit of work but thank you so much for entering and i wish you the best of luck

"that people hear everyday" -- every day.
"its something they're use to" -- it's; used.
"hearing from love ones and boyfriends" -- loved ones.
It's a good idea, and while I like the contrast between the first stanza and the rest of the poem, the poem itself needs work. Watch your grammar; it detracts from the poem. Also, try not to tell so much, but, instead, show us.
I like those last two lines, though. Good luck in the contest. -
