Deep Rooted

feathered
wings flutter by
like a butterfly angel
and light upon daffodil dreams
but I
like a cragilly old crocus bulb
am still buried in dirt
too shallow to
take root

I, also like the opposites, works so well in this, plus the imagery is so great and the poem is so eloquent, good luck in the contest, beautiful butterfly cinquain, here!

Oh, I like the compare and contrast throughout the two portions of your butterfly cinquain. The pretty butterfly, and the bulb. This is great, thank you so much for your entry.
