Slytherins get the last word,
They always keep their pride,
They are feared and fierce,
Taking Hogwarts in their stride.
Heads always kept up high,
Always superior, the best,
A true representation of Hogwarts,
Go on and forget the rest.
Rich and well-known families,
They know what's right, what's wrong,
They can detect a flicker of fear,
Seeing what's weak, what's strong.
Smart with an evil heart,
The deadly combination,
The true blood of wizards,
Causing immense adoration.
Life without the Slytherin House,
A concept which excites a lot,
However, they will still remain,
And hex the enemy until they rot.
Hogwarts wouldn't seem the same,
Without Draco Malfoy, the great,
To challenge Potter everyday,
And show them he's to hate.
Whoever you may encounter,
Whomever you may meet,
Know the Slytherins leave a mark,
(And often tend to cheat).
The Slytherin House, so noble,
So distinct in our school,
If only, thought Severus Snape,
They'd follow a single rule!
Author notes
Uh, I worked for a while on this because I had writer's block. Butttt, I'm pretty happy with the result!

Nice job, totally told a Slytherins view of... well, Slytherin! Well done! Good rhyming (and the background, though simple, excellent). Great job!
