The Choice

The growing child placed within
a womb surrounded by fear, guilt and sorrow.
A growing child that cannot comprehend
life’s choices that will never be his.

Safety and sanctity of womb
replaced by familial, customary and legal thought.
Life-threatening decisions -
a choice that never was his.

Want and neglect determine the choice,
and effects the child in the womb.
The choice finally made that never was his -
no longer the child in the womb.

A child never has a say in being born or if someone wants to abort. It is a shame they are a human being just as much as we all are. What a powerful write. Thanks for speaking up for the children who can't
