There she stands waiting, watching.
Quiet, eyes forward, cold.
She is wearing the color of anger, the color of blood.
Her hair black, dark as the night.
A breeze is blowing. Her silk Hanfu clothes are the only things moving.
She is a Royal Princess, in secret an assassin.
Her blade is swift and deliberate.
There he lies motionless in the snow.
He had it coming. So much evil in one lifetime.
She is numb after all this time of waiting.
Now it is finished, but there will be no time of peace.
There are still many more in this group.
But he was the first, the one who took so much from her.
The taste of this revenge is bittersweet.

I was raised on saturday afternoon karate movies. The picture is from one of my fav movies "Hero". As you can tell I also loved "Kill Bill volumes 1 & 2". I could and may continue writing stories of her. I love a woman hero who can hold her own against the big dogs!

Yes, I also love the Karate movies! Did my share of martial arts when I was younger. Excellent imagery in this write! Author's notes also very good!
