Contemplating her life
Wondering how she got here
Wondering what to do next
She kneels in the sand
Naked, scared, and alone
No one to see her beauty
No one to stop her tears
She huddles in the dark
Wishing they would see
But they won't understand

She reaches out to them

They don't feel her touch
They don't sense her presence
She pushes her hair behind her ears
As she rises from the ground
She flies into the sunset

An angel of truth
Trying to set the people free
