daddy can you hear me im screaming out your name
daddy can you hear me i dont want this to be in vain
it hurts so much that you dont want me
it kills me everyday that in your arms ill never be
it hasnt hit me till latley that im nothing in your eyes
because of you anyone who says they want me seems to be a lie
i cant even remember your face
but everyone tells me your nothing but a disgrace
to me that doesnt matter i wanted to be my own judge
daddy can you hear me im not holding a grudge
daddy can you hear me all i want is a memory
not just the stories they tell me
all i ever wanted was to be daddys little girl thats it
but you didnt want that at all not one bit
daddy can you hear me im crying again
daddy can you hear me cant you just pretend
Author notes

This is a sad and deep poem. I love the rhyme, but I think the rhythm could be a little better. Thanks for sharing
