What is the definition of art?
Is there even a definition?
Who has the right to define art?
Is there a phrase to that gives a solid explanation?
Art has been said to be part of many a tradition,
In the form of songs, literature and paintings.
For some, to be an artist is a lifelong ambition,
They are much more interested art than in other things.
Some say that art is priceless, worth more than gold rings.
Some would point to a painting and art they would call it,
And some would say art is the music that a singer sings.
Some might even say that it is the sweater they knit.
Abstract concepts aren’t limited to emotions,
For art has more definitions than drops in all oceans.

Author notes
Yet another homework poem. We were to write a sonnet but we can't use imagery. I had a really hard time, because almost every single poem I ever wrote and write have imagery.
This is a Spenserian sonnet. Its rhyme scheme is: abab bcbc cdcd ee. This is an abbreviated sonnet, so there are less or more than ten syllables per line.
