My brother and I were sitting in the lounge,
both of us not saying anything but watching T.V,
then out of the blue he starts to sing;
one banana, two banana, three banana, four.
This went on for a couple of minutes,
until he stopped and said 'I'm a banana,'
all the while he was bobbing in his seat,
but all I could do was stare at him.
Rotating between singing and stating he was a banana,
he keep scraching his nose,
I was about to tell him to go and blow it, mum bet me to it,
but all he said to her was, 'my nose has an ich.'
I couldn't believe it, bananas don't have noses,
and my brother really isn't a banana,
but I was stuck with him for the rest of the night,
while he was pumped up on sugar.
I'll never look at a banana again the same way.

LOL Yea, kids can really do strange things when they are on a sugar rush. I have a grandson that is the same way. Thanks for sharing this. I love the humor.

This is very strange and pretty funny, though completely random. There were several mistakes(keep/kept, scraching/scratching, bet/beat, ich/itch

this is awsome! i really like it, it was like a story slash poem, so cool. little brothers can be so odd sometimes, can't they. Of corse, I suppose I am to occasionaly, breaking out into random song, but hey, who dosn't? Awsome poem, so unique and original, really great. I say rock on to your lil bro. The first banana to ever have a nose!!!

I was thinking what in the world could this be about.
You have certainly made me smile with this. Great work poet.

Cute
Made me smile...
I will still look at and eat bananas the same way, though.
Me and the banana are a lifelong institution.

I don't think I will never look at bananas again the same way either. This was really good and gave me a smile when I read it
