we; the young; restless

would dare to dream
a dream that noone else would seem
to know

we would begin with life
even when
that's something we have never known.

all we have is a shell;
yeah, we all know.
we want more..
what is more?
restless..

..the death of one
perfect in every way
the Son of God
some would say..

is it true?
oh yes, yes, it's true.
we all knew.

..so we'd give our lives to this devoted cause
and the Spirit would be given, to take away our flaws
and make us able
to overcome
the ugly one who rules this world
and all the ugly ones who twirled
around him like a king, or something..

but we, through He
took his sting.

--->
nothing.

..the lamb that was slain
after offering his flesh for our bread
would overcome the one who 'reigns'
and be brought back up; alive from dead..

a time would pass, and times and a half

and all the bees
theyd start their humming
while the earth
commenced its drumming
and we His children
would be coming, running.
across the fields of clover
into His arms that we'd
been longing to feel, since he'd decreed
that we'd have life

and more importantly be His bride.

the God of the Universe would stand
as our Father and Lover, forever

..and all the goodness we had known
was just a shadow to the throne..

and bliss would fill us and we would know
that everything we had heard was more than bridal lore
so much
more. and
more. and more.

and we kept our hope in Him.

yes, we would dare to dream
but we need not, it would seem
for all the mysteries of the earth
have been uncovered from the birth
of man.

to the dawn of that awesome day when God returns.

but surely such a dream...could not be true...

it is.  <---

Author notes

yes, this is the ramblings of the redeemed. It's not the best flowing thing you've ever written. But that's ok because number one, I miss your writing, and number two, it is after all exactly the ramblings of the redeemed.

lol, I didn't really know that you were a perfectionist...though I knew you held yourself to high standards. You rap? I'm jealous. - being a white girl, I'm pretty good at rapping. - ha as good as a white girl can be at least. LOL yeah writing music...I've been having trouble with that....mainly because I have so much pain in my heart right now, and yet I'm ok....and even I have a hard time trying to fit that into the tone of a song. -have you ever tried not even rhyming in your work? I think you should.
