Suicide is painless

Its just death that hurts

 

 From heaven to hell

Resting on earth

Waiting on the world

To give birth to you once again

 

Suicide is painless

Its the goal for the hopeless

 

A few quick cuts

And you drift away

A hand full of pills

And you go numb

 

Suicide is painless

Its life that hurts

 

Why look back with your head under water

Just take a deep breath an swallow

And i bet you will

Turn a pretty shade of blueish gray

 

Suicide is painless

Lets all play the game

Lets end our pain

Remember just tell your brain

    Even though I love this poem and feel like you expressed yourself very well, suicide is never painless. The reason people commit suicide is because of sorrow, hopelessness, etc. My uncle commited suicide which left a huge hole in my heart. I have to say that he was more of a father to me then anything else. In my oppinion he was really the only father I ever had. When he died a huge part of me died with him and I feel it every day. It's a dull ache that's always with me. People tell me to get over it and say it's been over seven years you've had plenty of time to grieve. Those people just don't understand that this pain is a pain that stays forever with me. I don't think he realized how many people he'd leave behind hurt and broken. I do believe there's peace in the afterlife or whatever you call it. I have to believe that because I understand the pain he felt, and believing that he's in peace brings peace to my heart. I understand to an extent on why people choose suicide, I've been there many a time before. Saying that suicide is painless in my oppinion isn't true, because you never know how many hurt people you leave behind. This is just my oppinion.
