Garden fountain,
home to daydreams
of white knights
and
happily ever after,
reflect
jaded glaciers.
Hope wilts
in soils unfertalized;
as passion is buried
beneath rose bushes,
awaiting a rebirth.
Compassion's chasm lies
numb,
void of love;
spirit weeps,
with coins tossed
in liquid dreamcatcher
of wishes released --
in copper.

Hmm.. what I really liked about this piece is that you couldn't tell the whole metaphor overall until you read the ending, and then it just clicked and connected and related really will with the rest of the poem. Nice work and good luck
