the unpleasant take of the future.

i'll never be that person,
and i'm sorry to say,
that i don't have the power,
to get to where i'm going.

i'm not special,
i'm just your average white kid,
who will never get a break in life,
because no one will help me.
(no one with money anyways)

so there you'll go,
and here i'll stay...

i'll visit quite often,
but the guards will throw me out at night.

i'll walk down the streets, catch a bus, and ride back to the slums.

and in my dark little corner, i'll continue drawing,
and try to make a living,
with a drafting pencil and a clear giant triangle.

cause these things in my head need to come out.

well, someone is bound to get it. this is just one of my views. the rain cloud is over my head today. heh.

    I get what you're saying. But I honestly don't believe a word of it. You ARE going to make it in life. You ARE going to be filthy rich and you will be able to laugh at anyone who ever doubted you. Sometimes you have to do it on your own with no one helping you along the way. I know it's hard but plenty of people get somewhere without the help of others. So don't stress so much because I know for sure that I'll be seeing your comics everywhere when we're older. I believe in you, Jess. I always did and I always will. Awesome poem by the way.

    i'm sorry, jess. i understand the feeling of having to separate..not knowing how easy things are gonna get in the future. but there is always hope.

    good write... did something happen?? sounds like someone is leaving or already did... but im at a loss for who. its good that drawing helps you get stuff in your head out (same with AP) but you don't have to go it alone if you don't want to. I'm here. I'll listen.

      it's about how the future might turn out. if i can't get the money for MassArt and if i can't follow Blue. i'll basically do minimum wage jobs and insane ammounts of comic-making til i get a deal with someone. ^^ thanks for being here for me. it really means a lot.
