Oh, mini-skirted girls
spic and span in glossy tights
and bulging breasts,
dare we hope your bare midriffs
are clean as well as uncomely?
Oh, mini-skirted women
brazenly blousey
defiantly hosed,
do your belly buttons shine
with clean shiny gold?
the spruce and compact
bypasses beauty,
borders on ungainly
but gleams with polished confidence.
Oh, untidy, bedraggled youths
fresh-faced and lank-haired,
shoelaces straggling
over ragged denims
does your pungent aftershave disdain
your unwashed days?
Or is godlike cleanliness
subsumed in inelegance?

Funny, Quirky
I liked the upbeat pace...something very raw and honest about this behind the lines.
Thoroughly enjoyable read.
