Concrete infested wraparounds have confused you within;
in darkness have you been,
the demons have you pinned,
and the light of sky has dimmed into your sharpness.
This rock-surrounded barrier has collapsed in your heart,
and you don't know where to start;
know not how to play the part,
yet, you're ready, and you know the length departed.
Your climate has been faded from the brightness of your mind
like a ragged clown behind
looking for another sign,
smearing faces on the dead one that you've taken.
My hammer was bestowed upon my tongue unto your ears,
scanning faces all these years,
learning all about their fears,
and their concrete wraparounds that have been wasted.
And let this be known: that wraparounds diminish free.
Any hammer unto thee;
any talent or hobby
with good intentions can extinguish any agony.
My choices have been made upon
the planet that I walk;
every pupil that is stalked;
wrapped around by any flaw,
or held down by any law,
or surrounded by the wall
has free will to answer questions they've been wondering
so listen to me now as I play deep within your soul,
past the ragged concrete role
with my hammer loud and whole
as I hack into the dark and rocky trenches
then deep within the abyss, I will brighten all your day;
make the face-paint go away,
and the minions I will slay;
break away the stony shade.
Take a breath and take a seat on the park benches.
Now take a step outside the box and look in at yourself
down there on the bottom shelf
with all the others who need help;
the tools among the belt.
Life flows in you and without you and above you.
Your skin is all that's keeping you from going everywhere.
Let the wind flow through your hair
and the light reflect your glare.
Let the open air anoint the very stare of you.
