Rain Dance

The day has almost gone and I'm dancing as fast as I can
The night is soon approaching again
So don't let go yet, I'm still in a spin
And if I stop too soon it might all just disappear.

So if I said I wouldn't change my ways would it matter?
It's hot as hell here so do we keep dancing for rain?
Or are we simply tracing movements in the dark
Without touching each other
Still believing each of us is right and blaming everyone else...

The fire's hotter near the flame burning out of control
While clouds still gather all around us
There is no comfort in the heat we create
Sleeping in separate rooms, dreams and worlds apart.
