Aye me, your piercing blue eyes
Stoic you that made me cry
What hurts more: That you were my friend?
Or that you broke my heart so it couldn’t mend
Aye me, your flawless skin
Tricking me into flirty sin
Thoughts of you darting through my head
And so many emotions left unsaid
Aye me, your smooth voice
Woe is me, I liked you and not by choice
Closing my eyes left you standing there
Trying to see if you truly did care
Aye me, your random jokes
On my words you made me choke
You had control over me that you never knew
If you had I wonder what you’d do
Aye me, your hateful personality
Confusing my dreams with reality
You’d flirt and vie for my attention
But then crack cruel jokes about my suspension
Aye me, Aye me, Aye you
I didn’t know what to do
But eventually I pulled through
I can safely say I’m over you
