I like how you are expressing your sentiments to the person, rather than talking 'about' them. Either way, acknowledging the special meaning of a friendship is wonderful, but I would certainly write something this heartfelt and sincere in a card to send to a special person, and I they would be touched...

I love to hear that a person loves another for just being who they are. Too many times I see people trying to change people and if you truly loved that person.. you should not want to change them( at least not in that way). I do not deny maybe trying a little at times.. but I came to recognize the true nature of friendship.. unfortunately.. I found it when people tried to change me.. and left me out to dry. You have penned some wonderful words of love and devotion to a special friend here. You do tend to amaze me sometimes.. and your heart my dear is one of the purest I think I know. Thank you for being a great friend and for entering my humble little contest!!
