Beauty fair and beauty bright
lead us to a calmer land
Illuminate the darkest night
Deliver me from Satan’s hand

Without your love this pit grows deeper
Without your love all hope turns dim
Come and be my soul’s true keeper
Help me, save me from my sin

Hold me, guide me to the light
and look to me with angel’s eyes
Revive me with your heart’s delight
Embrace me, lead me to the skies

Beauty fair and beauty bright
hold me close and comfort me
End for me this endless night
and lead me to eternity

    This was touching. And really sweet. I am glad that you have someone in your life that saves you. Good luck in the contest. I felt your heart in this poem. And you have been the only who could combine the two together. I am glad that you were able to do this. Your's seemed personal, and that is how I can relate. This is what I mianly write about.
