Pulled over for speeding
a-g-a-i-n,
that makes twice this week and
it’s only Monday.
You walk to the car and
I just hang my head.
Then I hear a heavenly voice
that calls to my very soul.
I look up into your eyes
and behold a tenderness,
I have longed for
for my entire life.
Your eyes,
catch the light
and sparkle
like sapphires that
makes my heart flutter.
We talk,
time just seems to stop
something within me
continues to grow
with a mystical strength.
Your voice
whispers
into my very soul.
Your smile
is as tender as
a field of lilies
that dances in the wind.
There is something
about your smile
that captivates me,
drawing me closer to you.
Seconds tick away
into minutes
10, 15, even 30.
As you continue to write
we talk but thoughts of
spending a lifetime with you
possess my mind..
A call comes across the radio
and you are needed.
You give me a ticket
and tell me not to be late.
I look at it
Written before me is
a time and place
and 5 points for speeding
I think to myself,
shall I speed again,
get some more points,
or shall I just learn my lesson?
Hummmm maybe I can see
Sergeant Rose Blossom again?
I hope,
she can catch me tomorrow.

Whimsy of a lovely officer, made me smile, there are charming young ladies patroling those days ;;but one must keep in mind,,too many points and the permit is gone lol...if you wish to see her without the pain..she probably has a donut place domain...there a coffee and a cheer both will bring..hehehe ,,from the goblin of Honalee with a spell...was cheerful read..

LOL...Looks like you are aroused by women in uniform. You really need to be careful for you will not have a license at all. I like how you smoothly made the transition from the beginning into a love's dreamy romance then ended it with the scent of her on your ticket. So well done.

I wonder if I give you 5 points, a time and a place, would you be there? maybe not but I don't have a uniform. I think Sergeant Rose Blossom has the advantage.
This is a lovely poem that just goes to show how we never know when we might meet that 'someone' special in our lives. You've got some great ideas going on at the moment.
