Guttatim: as I look at this word I pray it’s not Latin for gutter or worse a red-neck vocabulary mispronunciation of ‘got the time’.
Poor Guttatim how many others cringe at the sight of you?
Falling on blank faces must be nothing new for you.
Even I let you down partially,
I guessed you as Latin which you are,
You do know it’s all foreign to us now?
I feel horrible for having degraded you as
Trivial Red-Neck humor
Allow me to cascade my apologies upon you,
You know, I have no idea how to speak your name
So I shall not even attempt
I’m afraid of careening out of control on your t’s
Talk about collapsing on hard times,
I can only find one definition for you my pet,
And I must tell you it’s not helpful,
So I must put my poetic prowess to work,
Put all thoughts of a decrescendo out of my mind,
Please take all medication orally and dispense Guttatimly,
Until all medication is gone.
Consult a doctor if any strange symptoms occur.
Oh my sweet I’m afraid I have failed you yet again,
What am I to do?
You mean drop by drop in prescriptions,
But have no fear
I see you as a beautiful strange Latin word
That only someone at Wal-Green’s truly understands.

This was really weird and wonderful, and the product of a wild imagination. What's with all these 'Anonymized' poems. Are you all in the same group or something. I just had to ask. Anyway, best of luck in my contest, and thanks for entering.
